Introduced in 1994, Molecular Medicine was solely a print journal designed to serve as a forum through which biomedical researchers and clinicians could communicate recent discoveries to a multidisciplinary, international audience interested in understanding and curing disease. Over two decades later, Molecular Medicine has expanded its presence and increased the ways in which researchers and clinicians communicate in today’s technology-driven age.

In addition to freely accessing all journal content on our website, users can participate in our online biomedical research community; access additional types of audio-visual media such as videos and podcasts; attend live events including the Merinoff SymposiaWorld Congress, and Centricity Series; and compete for awards such as the Ross Prize in Molecular Medicine or the Cerami Award in Translational Medicine.

Our editorial staff continues to keep Molecular Medicine at the forefront of the publishing world. We place high priority on rapid peer review and publication. Average time to first decision is approximately four weeks and all accepted content is published free online without embargo. We automatically submit your content to PubMed Central according to the NIH Public Access Policy, alleviating authors of this burden. We also provide a pre-submission enquiry service if authors are unsure as to whether or not their manuscript comes within the scope of Molecular Medicine.
